…thankful-ness…

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Mostly because it involves food. But also because it reminds us to say Gracias for a multitude of things. Here is my list….

I am grateful for the True. Grateful for my health and also for the lack thereof…if for no other reason than it has taught me fortitude.

I am thankful for Reverie. Hope untetherd. And love untamed.

I give thanks for all the furry things in my life.

Thank you authentic surrender. Inconvenient epiphanies. And for the fact, that by some miracle, I always seem to find the seam of light in the dark.

Thank you for the amplified life I live. And for being given yet another year to use it. And not squander it.

I am thankful for my Tribe. Who always have my back. And no matter how many times I have been on my knees, they always pick me up and point me in the direction of True North.

And I am supremely thankful for my dear friend Laurie, who in one week has walked through fire and seen God. I am glad you made it home. I love you, sista.

Happy Thanksgiving to you & yours.

Heather I am deeply touched by your notation of thought. I marvel at that mention of True North for it has deep personal meaning for I as well. Given all the personal turmoil of this past year medically and currently your words give me much hope. If I have learned anything from the turmoil it is not to accept no, and know within the proper medical intervention is out there inspite of many no’s. You are indeed a miracle amongst mortals. Thank you, Jan Bianchi
